The purpose of this article was to understand how social skills and interpersonal relationships are implied in teachers as educational agents. This article concerns a documentary type of research developed through a bibliographic design. As a conclusion, social skills and interpersonal relationships are fundamental aspects in the performance of teachers as educational agents. Educators who possess strong social skills such as communication, empathy, assertiveness, among others, can establish meaningful links and connections with their students, colleagues and parents, which contributes to a positive educational environment conducive to learning.
