SANTOS-MARTINEZ, Graciela; RAMOS-GUZMAN, Francisco; RUIZ-PORRAS, María Citlali  e  QUINTERO-RAMIREZ, Juan Manuel. Innovation as a success factor in Mexican ventures. Koinonía [online]. 2024, vol.9, n.18, pp.85-105.  Epub 15-Nov-2024. ISSN 2542-3088.  https://doi.org/10.35381/r.k.v9i18.4190.

Entrepreneurship and innovation are alternative solutions to problems identified in society and to the economic growth of a country. In recent years, the Mexican government has adopted measures that favor the creation of companies with innovative and competitive potential. However, there are still limitations that affect the growth and development of these businesses. These restrictions and their relationship with the factors that, from the innovation point of view, contribute to promote them, make the objective of this research to analyze how Mexican entrepreneurs value innovation as a success factor for the development of novel and competitive processes or products. The research has a mixed descriptive and analytical approach. The application of the instrument corroborates the importance of innovation given by 30 entrepreneurs from all over the country, but there are still variables on which it is necessary to work to strengthen the innovative culture.

Palavras-chave : Innovation; entrepreneurship; innovation-entrepreneurship relationship; business development. (UNESCO Thesaurus)..
