Abstract

This research was carried out in order to understand social responsibility in corporate sustainability within the National Superintendence of Public Registries of Chincha in 2023. This study was framed in the Interpretative paradigm, using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, corresponding to the descriptive level and basic type. The research process involved the participation of the director of Sunarp Chincha, an official and an employee of the institution, as well as a specialist in social responsibility, another in corporate sustainability and two users of the entity. In-depth interviews and a semi-structured guide were used. The findings revealed deficiencies in the implementation of action plans, control of legal compliance, communication management and monitoring of indicators. Therefore, it is concluded that these weaknesses have a negative impact on corporate sustainability in the economic, social and environmental areas.
