Currently, topics related to the quality of higher education have gained increasing prominence in scientific research. In this context, the objective of this study is to compare the dimensions of educational quality in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and Chile, exploring both structural and procedural aspects. To achieve this, the study employed a qualitative approach based on a bibliographic review as the primary methodological resource. Through this analysis, four key dimensions of higher education quality were identified: structural, procedural, outcome, and contextual dimensions. Each country exhibits unique characteristics in its educational system, while also sharing common challenges such as funding, enrollment expansion, inequality in access, and the need for educational reforms. The findings underscore the importance of policies that promote equity, continuous professional development for academic staff, and a commitment to educational improvement as a driver of social progress.
