BELLIDO-CABRERA, Jessica; VALIENTE-SALDANA, Yoni Mateo; ALVITES-GASCO, Ana Maria  y  DIAZ-GOMEZ, Cleotilde. Labor recognition and organizational commitment in an agroindustrial company. Koinonía [online]. 2025, vol.10, n.19, pp.202-216.  Epub 20-Mar-2025. ISSN 2542-3088.  https://doi.org/10.35381/r.k.v10i19.4397.

The objective was to determine the relationship between job recognition and organizational commitment in an agro-industrial company, Trujillo. A quantitative approach was used. The population consisted of 52 administrative workers. A significant and positive relationship was found between job recognition and organizational commitment, with a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.92 (p<0.001), which confirms that recognition practices, both formal and informal, are fundamental to strengthening the emotional, normative and professional bond of workers, directly impacting on their motivation, performance and retention. It is concluded that strengthening job recognition through policies that include financial and non-financial rewards, such as emotional salary, labor flexibility and moral support, is essential to increase organizational commitment, improve the work environment, reduce turnover and consolidate a solid and sustainable organizational culture.
