The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between the evaluation of teaching performance and educational quality in a private Mexican university, specifically in the Chemical Engineering degree program. A quantitative approach with descriptive and correlational analysis was used, examining indicators such as student satisfaction, teaching category, academic degree level, graduation rate, graduation average and passing the General Undergraduate Exit Examination. The results showed that 56% of the teaching staff has a doctorate, and more than 85% of the students are satisfied with the teaching. Negative correlations were found between student satisfaction and academic performance suggesting that students with better GPAs tend to be less satisfied. In conclusion, although educational quality is high, it is necessary to strengthen pedagogical teacher training and adjust teaching methodologies to improve student satisfaction and performance.
