Nutritional and productive evaluation of forage peanuts (Arachis pintoi) in the Huamboya canton, Morona Santiago, Ecuador. Koinonía [online]. 2026, vol.11, n.21, pp.46-65.  Epub 10-Jun-2026. The objective was to evaluate the nutritional and productive characteristics of forage peanuts (A. pintoi) at different ages under climatic conditions of the Huamboya canton of Morona Santiago. A randomized design of five cut-off ages with three replications was used. The productive variables were evaluated in the field and the proximal analysis in the bromatology laboratory of the Amazonian State University. The results show that the highest production of green forage and dry matter was reached at 75 days of age with 0.843 Kg/m² and 26.20% respectively. The nutritional quality of forage cut at 15 days registered higher crude protein content and lower crude fiber content with 32.02 and 24.29 %. It is concluded that age influences the nutritional quality and productive performance of forage peanuts and the optimal age for it to be fed to animals is 45 days.
