The objective of the research was to analyze the structural limitations to sanctioning autonomy from the transparency and efficiency of administrative disciplinary procedures in Ancash, Peru. Descriptive-interpretative research with a qualitative approach, managing the collection and analysis of a documentary-bibliographic typology in which legal sources and refereed articles related to the subject of study were reviewed, complemented with fieldwork. In the field phase, semi-structured interviews were carried out, which were applied in person to eight judicial operators: four technical secretaries and four alternate technical secretaries. In conclusion, the administrative disciplinary procedure of the Judicial Branch has a sanctioning autonomy recognized at the normative level that is not effectively projected in its organizational functioning. The current structure allows the investigative phase to generate a relevant legal and evidentiary analysis.
