The overall objective of the research was to analyze strategies for using blogs to enhance argumentative skills among sixth-grade students in Colombia. The procedure for the analysis was based on bibliographic-documentary research. A wide range of written sources and peer-reviewed documents were gathered and critically examined. This approach enabled the development of a consistent theoretical framework regarding the topic under analysis. It also relied on the analytical-synthetic method. It is concluded that the use of blogs as a pedagogical strategy in sixth grade in Colombia is an effective way to democratize speech and reinforce critical thinking. It is inferred that blogs strengthen argumentative skills by transforming writing into a collaborative and social process.
