The general objective of the research was the legal analysis of the corruption of officials and abuse of pretrial detention in the justice system, Trujillo. This study was based on the quantitative approach, through the search, collection and critical analysis of documents, bibliographic references, studies or research projects, from the interpretation of law. In this case, the research technique applied was the documentary review of texts, doctrines, norms and theses, which contributed to strengthen the research related to the corruption of officials and the abuse of pretrial detention in the justice system. It is concluded that there is a moderate relationship between the abuse of pretrial detention in crimes of corruption of officials with the assessment based on the criminal doctrine, in the jurisdictional operators of the justice system of Trujillo, 2022; according to the systematic review of literature.
