ABSTRACT
The general objective of the research was to analyze human rights and irregular migration: challenges and perspectives of Ecuadorian public policy. The development of the method was based on a quantitative approach, through enquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources made up of articles, regulations and laws, among others, describing the findings. Documentary review was used as a research technique. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that irregular migration in Ecuador presents significant challenges for the protection of migrants' human rights. Although the Ecuadorian government has attempted to legislate and establish programs to address this issue, obstacles remain in accessing justice and protecting the labor rights of irregular migrants. To establish an inclusive public policy.
