Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze the Office of the Ombudsman for Children and Adolescents: Impact on the resolution of social conflicts. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the method was through inquiry, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous, and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources consisting of referred articles and agreements, describing the findings. Documentary review was used as a technique, which allowed obtaining valuable information to frame events, problems, and reactions. The inductive-deductive method was also used. It is concluded that, despite identifying some barriers that limit the full participation of adolescents, the study highlights the capacity of the Ombudsman's Office as an essential actor in the promotion of a more inclusive and participatory environment.
