The general objective of the research was to analyze socioeconomic inequality and its impact on the recidivist criminal behavior of juvenile offenders. It was developed through a documentary-exploratory approach, adopting a rigorous and structured process for the identification, selection, analysis and interpretation of already published information. Documentary analysis was implemented as the main technique, carried out in a methodical and systematic manner. For data collection. The following is the conclusion: socioeconomic inequality is a fundamental determinant in the criminal recidivism of juvenile offenders. Factors such as poverty, family disintegration, lack of access to education and job opportunities, and a disadvantaged social environment, make up a favorable scenario for adolescents to fall and reoffend.
