The overall objective of the research was to analyze the review of the legality of administrative acts within the Ecuadorian public administration. The methodology involved the research, collection, and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references. It was based on a methodical, rigorous, and detailed examination of various sources, including laws and judicial decisions. A documentary review was employed as the research technique. The inductive-deductive method was also employed. The methodological procedure included normative interpretation, critical jurisprudential analysis, and dogmatic reconstruction. In conclusion, the normative transition driven by the 2008 Constitution and the technical operation of the Organic Administrative Code (2017) have established a system of guarantees in which an administrative act is valid only to the extent that it respects comprehensive legality, technical justification, and operational efficiency. The review of legality in Ecuador is geared toward strengthening ethics in administrative law.
