Objective:
To analyze emotional education as a strategy for strengthening the personality of university students.
Method:
Review of the scientific literature from PRISMA, 16 articles from PubMed were taken.
Results:
Emotional education from the cited studies, is evidenced as necessary to be incorporated into the university training programs of the health sciences careers, since it allows the student to face with greater relevance the stressful factors that when constituting in stress, negatively influence academic performance, being important to take into account the measurement of emotional intelligence in the processes of admission to the career, in this way, it can be diagnosed to design collective and self-directed care plans to promote a assertive emotional health, in favor of managing personality with greater emphasis on empathic patient care.
