Cyberbullying represents a significant threat to the psychological and social well-being of adolescents. This study aims to analyze its prevalence, psychosocial determinants, and consequences of adolescence within the context of social media. A systematic review of research published between 2020 and 2025 was conducted following the PRISMA methodology. The analysis establishes that victimized adolescents often exhibit symptoms of anxiety, depressive episodes, low self-esteem, social withdrawal, and suicidal ideation. Perpetrators, on the other hand, frequently display impulsivity, low frustration tolerance, and deficits in emotional control. Risk factors include peer pressure, online anonymity, insufficient parental supervision, and cultural discourse that normalize aggressive behaviors. Consequently, cyberbullying emerges as a complex and persistent phenomenon that requires comprehensive intervention. Coordinated action from families, educational institutions, communities, and digital service providers is essential, alongside the implementation of specific public policies focused on prevention and treatment.
