The use of technology in the teaching and learning process at all levels has become essential under the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the general purpose of this study is to describe the importance of tics in the students' learning process. To achieve this, a mixed approach was used. The survey was conducted on 201 participants, and the sample included 134 participants from educational institutions, including higher education students, teachers, and directors of the Sebastián Benalcázar Primary School in the state of Salitra, Guayaquil for the 2021-2022 school year. It turns out that the use of technology is important because it allows for better organization, proper use of technology and with adequate knowledge one must be able to use it in the best way, thus understanding and managing controllability.
