ESPINO CALDERON, Víctor Constantino et al. Modernization of Public Management in Perú based on the experiences of Covid-19. Prohominum [online]. 2024, vol.6, n.2, pp.77-92.  Epub 15-Dez-2024. ISSN 2665-0169.  https://doi.org/10.47606/acven/ph0236.

The Covid-19 health crisis has exposed deficiencies in public management, generating the urgent need for modernization in Peru and highlighting the crucial importance of transparency and access to public information. The research focuses on exploring relevant theoretical aspects of contemporary academic literature on this topic, through an exhaustive bibliographic review of the last five years in various databases such as Scopus, Web Of Science, Scielo, Redalyc, and Google Scholar. The findings underscore the urgency of building more resilient and democratic societies, fostering an environment of transparency and trust amidst a landscape of transformation and persistent challenges. In the post-Covid-19 era, transparency and access to public information emerge as fundamental pillars to ensure government accountability, stimulate citizen participation, consolidate public trust in governmental institutions, and counteract the spread of misinformation. The research concludes by emphasizing the imperative need to promote specific public policies and effective actions that strengthen these principles, with the ultimate goal of promoting better democratic functioning and building a fairer, more equitable, and resilient society.
