Higher Medical Education is in accordance with the accelerated improvement of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and advances in the computerization process of the health sector. For these reasons, a technological innovation investigation was carried out with the purpose of resolving the insufficiencies detected in the Teaching-Learning Process of the subject Research Methodology and Statistics for the development of skills in the search for scientific-technical information with the use of the telematic network. The objective of this article is the development of educational software to enhance knowledge about the use of the services provided by the Telematics network for the search for scientific-technical information in the aforementioned subject for second-year students of the Dentistry career. the University of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba. The investigation went through three stages; one aimed at substantiating the conceptual theoretical framework and current state of the use of the services provided by the Telematics network for the search for scientific-technical information, the second at designing software and the third at validating multimedia. The CrheaSoft tool was used, programmed on free software using PHP, MySQL, extjs 2.2, JQuery. Reaching the conclusion that the REDESOFT educational Multimedia enables students of the Stomatology career with the information provided to deepen the contents presented for both the teacher and the student.
