Emotional education has become a crucial component in the comprehensive development of higher education students. The objective of this research was to examine the impact of the emotional education program on the well-being and academic performance of students at the National Agrarian University of La Molina (UNALM). The study employed a positivist paradigm, a hypothetical-deductive method, a quantitative approach, a pre-experimental, applied-explanatory design, and a cross-sectional approach. The "Emotional Well-being" program was implemented with 102 students during the 2022 period, and its effectiveness was evaluated using Student T-tests for paired samples. Based on the results obtained, the implementation of the emotional well-being program at UNALM has significantly impacted the comprehensive development of the student population, leading to improvements in both emotional well-being and academic performance. Using the Student T-test for paired samples, a statistically significant positive change was identified in both emotional well-being and academic performance, with a p-value of less than 0.05, corroborating the statistical effectiveness of this educational intervention. As in previous studies, these results reinforce the hypothesis that emotional education positively impacts the personal and academic development of higher education students, particularly by enhancing their emotional management skills and addressing academic challenges.
