Education today faces the challenge of not only providing academic knowledge but also promoting values ​​education. This research aimed to establish the current state of research on values ​​education in elementary schools. The study was framed within the pragmatic paradigm, employing a systematic method, a qualitative approach, and a cross-sectional, documentary-thematic design. For the analysis, studies published between 2021 and 2025 in English and Spanish that presented significant findings on values ​​education in educational institutions were selected. Data was compiled using SciELO, Google Scholar, and Scopus. The initial review identified 213 articles, which were then subjected to detailed analysis to assess their relevance against the established inclusion criteria for the study. Subsequently, 193 articles were excluded for failing to meet the methodological, relevance, or quality requirements. Finally, 20 articles were included that met the defined parameters. The findings described the family and the school as two important pillars upon which values ​​education rests. In conclusion, teachers and families play a fundamental role in children's value formation; their work involves serving as role models of ethical behavior, fostering a climate of respect and trust, integrating values into the curriculum, and fostering dialogue, critical reflection, and moral awareness.
