The general objective of this research was to describe the interactive tools linked to teaching competence as a learning space in Guayaquil. The methodology used was based on the positivist paradigm, from the quantitative perspective, through the search, collection and critical analysis of documents, bibliographic references and refereed scientific works. The bibliographic design was based on logical and mental processes. The researchers organized an investigative process, where the study population was based primarily on written documents such as refereed papers, theses, among others, proposing a detailed review and reflection to obtain the necessary data for the theoretical development. It is concluded that, for the good use of interactive tools, it is essential to develop the necessary competences to achieve an optimal result in the implementation of the different platforms and to deploy the academic contents in a dynamic and interactive way, in the teaching-learning process.
