The objective was: to analyze human rights, taking into consideration the significance of the Cyrus Cylinder and the events currently happening in the Gaza Strip. The theoretical level method was used: analysis and criticism of sources; of the empirical level: Documentary research and content analysis, qualitative, to critically examine the located sources. The results showed that the Cyrus Cylinder is one of the antecedents of human rights, that these have evolved and that the current war conflict in the Gaza Strip shows its violation. It was concluded that the Cyrus Cylinder is the first known document that contains ideas that constitute antecedents of human rights, which are currently violated in the Gaza Strip due to the genocide carried out there by Israel, preventing a decent life for the Palestinians, despite the position of the international community.
