This essay analyzes how academic support strategies could improve language learning. Through a literature review covering studies from Scielo and Redalyc databases, effective strategies such as personalized tutoring, collaborative learning and the use of emerging technologies such as augmented reality and interactive platforms were identified. Among the results, the effectiveness of the strategies in adapting to the individual needs of students and different educational contexts was highlighted. However, barriers such as lack of teacher training, limited infrastructure and socioeconomic disparities were highlighted. Investment in educational resources, training programs and family involvement were proposed as key solutions. In conclusion, personalized academic support and emerging technologies have been essential tools for overcoming inequalities and fostering inclusive and effective learning.
