The objective of this study was to determine the influence of Andean wind musical instruments on the students’ state of mind at a secondary school in La Libertad. Methodologically, the research was quantitative, applied, non-experimental, and transversal with a causal correlational design. The population consisted of 107 students of II, IV, V and X Cycle of Pedagogy and, subsequently, the sample consisted of 28 students of the V Cycle. For data collection, the survey was used as a technique and two questionnaires as instruments. Among the results, it was evidenced that in the Andean wind instruments variable, the medium level predominates with 57.1% and in the mood variable, the medium level predominates with 60.7%. As a conclusion, the Andean wind instruments have a very significant impact on the state of mind in students of the pedagogical institute, so it is necessary to conduct music workshops.
