The objective of this article is to analyze how tourism and clean energies can act as catalysts for transcendental changes in the region, highlighting the crucial role played by education in this transformative process. Methodologically, it is based on a documentary-bibliographic study with a narrative and descriptive approach. Bibliographic sources were examined in academic repositories such as Scielo, Redalyc and Dialnet. The results indicate that the implementation of a strategy that articulates tourism and renewable energies as fundamental axes constitutes a strategic opportunity to redefine the development of the region, always favoring an approach that promotes sustainability, social inclusion and the preservation of cultural diversity. This approach implies understanding the historical challenges facing La Guajira and visualizing it as a scenario where cultural wealth, the natural environment and economic progress coexist harmoniously, projecting the region as a case of comprehensive and balanced development.
