The aim of this study was to analyze the strengthening of the teacher-student bond through the use of andragogical strategies in higher education. The methodology used was qualitative and documentary, based on 20 articles corresponding to journals indexed in the Scopus, Web of Science, Redalyc and Scielo databases. As a result, the data collected made it clear that in order to strengthen the teacher-student relationship, innovative and emotional aspects must be considered in the educational process, in order to promote empathy, respect and mutual trust. Likewise, the strategic use of ICT and digital tools facilitates the affective connection. Therefore, it was concluded that andragogical strategies have been effective means to improve the teacher-student relationship.
