The general objective of the research was to describe the ludic activities to improve numerical skills in regular elementary school students. The researchers approached the method from the positivist paradigm and the quantitative perspective, supported by a descriptive technique with a non-experimental documentary-bibliographic design. They proceeded to the review of scientific journals, among others, related to the investigated topic. The deductive method was used, as well as the content analysis technique to scrutinize the documents. A sample of 40 students was selected, to whom a questionnaire was applied. In conclusion, teachers should apply playful activities to handle random data or information, incorporating more practical exercises, where students organize, analyze and interpret random data to reinforce students' data management skills.
