The general objective of the research was to analyze the Pólya strategies to develop the creation of mathematical problems in regular elementary school students. It was developed from the quantitative approach. The population consisted of 25 students divided into 15 boys and 10 girls, all of them being students of the V cycle of primary education in the district of Lucma, Gran Chimú 2024. Probabilistic intentional sampling was used. An objective test was used as an instrument in the pre-test and post-test. The analytical-synthetic method was also used. In conclusion, it is necessary to encourage teachers with the topic of problem creation because it works in a complete way in the area of mathematics, since it is not only limited to solving a problem, but challenges students to create situations similar to the given problems.
