SILVA-VALVERDE, Laura Francisca; DURAN-LLARO, Kony Luby e MERINO-SALAZAR, Teresita Del Rosario. Creative graphics for fine motor skills improvement. Episteme Koinonía [online]. 2025, vol.8, n.esp1, pp.298-313. Epub 20-Jun-2025. ISSN 2665-0282. https://doi.org/10.35381/e.k.v8i1.4474.
The main objective of this research was to determine whether the creative graphics workshop improves fine motor skills in 3- and 4-year-old children in early education. The research approach was quantitative, with a hypothetical-deductive method and a non-experimental design. The population consisted of 51 children and a sample of 34 children. Observation was used as a technique and a checklist was used as an instrument; a test for fine motor skills was also applied, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.997 and 0.991. As a result, it was obtained that the creative graphics workshop had a positive effect on fine motor skills in 3- and 4-year-old children, obtaining a low level of 97% in the pre-test and a high level of 65% in the post-test. Finally, it was concluded that the application of the workshop significantly improved fine motor skills, with a significance level of 5%.
