Theatre serves as a valuable pedagogical tool for the holistic development of adolescents. This study evaluated the impact of a theatre workshop on the development of socio-emotional skills in secondary school students. A quasi-experimental design was implemented with a sample of 60 students, assigned to an experimental group (n=30) and a control group (n=30). The experimental group participated in a 12-session workshop. A validated 35-item questionnaire was used to measure skills before and after the intervention. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group. Statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test showed a significant difference in the post-test (p=0.000), with positive effects on both interpersonal and intrapersonal dimensions. We conclude that theatre is an effective strategy for promoting socio-emotional development, supporting its integration into the educational curriculum.
