Resumen

The objective of the research was to carry out the physicochemical and microbiological characterization of the bodies of water, of the farms that are part of the project "Agrosilvopastoral production system...", located in the La Belleza parish, Francisco de Orellana canton. The study was descriptive and of a cross-sectional design, because data from various parameters of specific samples will be analyzed. The results indicated that the water bodies of the La Belleza farm exceed the maximum limits of copper and fecal coliforms, while the pH is below the established minimum limit. In conclusion, it was obtained that most of the sampling points of the farms exceed the maximum limits of fecal coliforms, established in the Ministerial Agreement 097-A, and the iron limits. Therefore, it is considered that the water bodies of these farms are not suitable for livestock use, except for the water coming from point FJCTM1.
