The objective of the study was to evaluate the morphophysiological, productive and agricultural yield indicators of the lettuce varieties Cherokee Rz (81-36) and Starfighter Rz (81-85), in NFT hydroponic system and conventional system. The experiment was developed at the Experimental Center for Amazonian Research and Production. The research used a fully randomized experimental design with three replications. Two varieties of lettuce were used: Cherokee Rz (81-36) and Starfighter Rz (81-85). Data were taken at 28 and 35 days after transplantation. The results showed that the NFT system obtained the best values, with an average of 17 leaves plant-1, a leaf area of 2,225.6 cm2 and an agricultural yield of 21,552 kg ha-1; the variety with the best result was the Starfighter with 15 leaves plant-1, 1,725 cm2 of leaf area and 16,104 kg ha-1 of yield at 35 days from transplanting.
