CHIPANTIZA-MASABANDA, Juan Gabriel; OREJUELA-ROMERO, Jennifer Alexandra y CHAGLLA-CANGO, Maritza Tatiana. Evaluation of two fungicides for the control of moniliasis (moniliophthora roreri) in cocoa crops. Ingenium et Potentia [online]. 2024, vol.6, n.11, pp.4-15. Epub 31-Oct-2024. The objective of the research was to evaluate two fungicides with different mechanisms of action to control Moniliophthora roreri in cocoa crops (Theobroma cacao) in the Enokanqui parish, province of Orellana. The type of research was experimental and descriptive. The results reflected that the different evaluation frequencies, T1 of Tebuconazole and T2 Azoxystrobin, presented a constant decrease in the incidence percentages, but T3 Tebuconazole + Azoxystrobin shows an average with a lower percentage of incidence when evaluated at 60 days. Regarding the conclusion, it is found that treatment with Tebuconazole is the one with the lowest cost and price of the fungicide to be applied; For its part, the Tebuconazole + Azoxystrobin treatment has an intermediate cost, it is recommended to use the 2 chemical products, which would avoid resistance to the products by the fungus (Moniliasis).
