This research was focused on generating a Management Control System for the Metalworking Routine Maintenance Area of ​​the Venezuelan oil industry, an organization in charge of preventive and corrective maintenance of process plants and industrial facilities at the level of all Venezuelan refineries, aimed at the provision of metalworking services (welding, manufacturing and mechanics). This research is descriptive in nature, with a documentary and field design, made up of four phases beginning with the diagnosis of the current management situation, through free observation and interview, followed by the characterization of the core processes that merit a system of measurement through the application of work tables and interviews, and then proceed to the design of management indicators applied to the study area. Obtaining as a result 11 effectiveness indicators, 10 efficiency and 3 effectiveness indicators for a total of 24 indicators.
