Currently, information and communications technologies (ICT) represent a great change in the world, especially in education. During the pandemic, educational institutions are going through great challenges, resorting to the virtual modality as a contingency measure for the continuity of their educational programs. This research addresses the case of the Nursing Program of the Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda, UNEFM- Nucleus Sabino, with the intention of identifying the determining variables in the development of the CASA Plan in the students of the Nursing Program, focused on the qualitative approach. in the interpretive paradigm, using the application of interviews and observation as data collection techniques and instruments, with the aim of capturing the ideas and beliefs of the social actors belonging to the study house. Using MIC MAC structural analysis, the identification of variables, the description of the existing relationships between the variables and the identification of strategic variables were achieved. It is concluded that, among the challenges to be faced, there is: the generation of integration plans between the curriculum, teacher and ICT, as well as the implementation of learning strategies for digital competencies of the teacher and the student.
