PRINCE TORRES, Ángel Carmelo. JOHN DEWEY'S SOCIAL PEDAGOGY: PHILOSOPHY FOR POST-PANDEMIC CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT. Aula Virtual [online]. 2024, vol.5, n.11, pp.294-302. Epub 15-Abr-2024. ISSN 2665-0398. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10465845.
This essay was carried out with the objective of understanding John Dewey's social pedagogy as a management element for children's educational achievement in a post-pandemic era. With this purpose, a documentary-type investigation was carried out using scientific journals, web domains, institutional repositories, among others, also briefly bringing up legal guidelines established on education in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It was determined that John Dewey's social pedagogy is based on highlighting the community interaction of children, the consideration of their previous experiences and participatory democracy in accordance with collaborative work. For this reason, its execution within the framework of instruction activities in what is known as a post-pandemic era due to the COVID-19 crisis, is viable to try to alleviate the need to promote the reintegration of infants in interaction contexts with other people. With this, it was understood that the importance of Dewey's philosophy lies in the fact that it represents an opportunity for governments and society itself to structure guidelines that can be implemented after the materialization of situations that they achieve can be considered emergencies, for the benefit of the learners
