The objective was to analyze the implications of violation of rights from the exhibition of children and adolescents in the media from Peruvian legislation. Given this critical exploratory analysis, the participation of children and dissemination of their freedoms of expression, information, opinion and dissemination on radio and television is still insufficient. The Scoping review methodology was used to establish a critical discursive analysis. Concluding that, in those opportunities in which a child or adolescent is the subject of a news, report, or advertisement, the central issue must be approached seriously, not linking it to the specific circumstance, thus avoiding the stigmatization of children and adolescents, actively encouraging their inclusion and comprehensive protection that includes emotional protection against unnecessary exposure.
