LEON-VELARDE, César Gerardo et al. DESIGN OF AN ASP.NET WEB APPLICATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION OF STUDENT GRADES AT A NATIONAL UNIVERSITY. Aula Virtual [online]. 2024, vol.5, n.12, e307. Epub 19-Jul-2024. ISSN 2665-0398. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.11302371.
This document was born from the need to explore and adopt new technological tools that effectively optimize processes. The general objective was to design an ASP.NET web application to develop enrollment management and also the registration of student grades at a National University. The technological methodology was developed taking into account the application of specific principles and tools to address the present technological challenges. The population was determined under a strategic approach made up of individuals who provided substantial information for the collection and development of research data, consisting of all tenth cycle systems engineering students and a sample of 30 students who are part of the population. The technique or form selected to collect data is the survey, using a questionnaire that consisted of 20 questions, presented on a Likert scale. As results, 56.67% of the people approached from the educational family expressed dissatisfaction with the current system, and 80% expressed the need to improve the enrollment system. In conclusion, the steps developed for enrollment and grading in national universities tend to be cumbersome and require the participation of different actors, and the automation of these processes tends to greatly improve effectiveness and efficiency, as reflected in the 85% acceptance by those surveyed. Finally, the ASP.NET web application was designed to develop the enrollment and systematization of student grades in a national university study house.
