The objective of the research was to explain the effect of business expectations on Peruvian economic growth. The methodology is based on applied research, non-experimental, quantitative design, deductive and econometric method, explanatory scope, 123 monthly observations were examined from 2014 to 2024 extracted from the time series database of the monetary authority and regressed by Minimums. Ordinary Squares. The results of the linear regression estimation demonstrated at 5% significance that business expectations about the economy have a direct effect on economic growth whose R-squared value=90%. The estimation of business expectations about the sector has a direct effect on economic growth showing an R-squared=95%. The goodness of fit R-squared=96% confirms that business expectations about demand have a direct effect on economic growth. It is concluded that the business expectations perceived by entrepreneurs are fundamental for investment decisions in the country, therefore, economic growth depends on these expectations.
