Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand emotions and cope with problems. The objective of the research is to explore emotional intelligence in students at a post-pandemic level through a systematic review of academic literature. Methodologically, it was based on documentary research, systematically selecting articles relevant to the topic. The search was carried out in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Dialnet, Redalyc, SciELO and Google Scholar, resulting in the selection of 24 articles. Through a critical, objective and rigorous analysis of the results, it is concluded that factors such as confinement, distance education, economic difficulties, family coexistence and generalized uncertainty have had a profound impact on the Emotional Intelligence of students. students; In this sense, it is necessary to design educational policies and strategies aimed at identifying and developing the Emotional Intelligence of students, in order to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic and prepare future generations to face challenges in an effective and resilient manner.
