The objective of the present study was to analyze communicative competencies and the relevance to learning and native languages in the Latin American context in rural contexts. The methodology used was a qualitative documentary review based on the bibliographic review, various theories and reports related to the object investigated were considered to highlight the importance of achieving learning, 80 articles were reviewed of which 44 were selected. It is concluded that competence of nature Communication with an intercultural approach is relevant and necessary, it must be complemented with motivational factors and an adequate climate in the classroom to achieve true cognitive development in students.
