The presence of students with disabilities in universities is constantly increasing, but teachers show limited preparation to provide training to people with special abilities. The objective of this study was to explore inclusive care strategies in higher education today. A systematization of the information obtained from Scopus, Scielo and Eric was carried out. The result is that inclusive care must become a fundamental axis of education, since it will benefit people with special abilities who have the same rights as everyone, under equitable and fair care. The conclusion is that higher education is student-centered and requires prepared teachers to respond to the demands and requirements of students in a timely and appropriate manner; Strategies must enable teachers to implement truly inclusive education in the classroom and the surrounding educational environment.
