Resumen

DIAZ HUACCAN, Erika. KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AS A DRIVER OF ORGANIZATIONAL INNOVATION IN REGULAR BASIC EDUCATION: A STUDY IN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS. Aula Virtual [online]. 2024, vol.5, n.12, e376.  Epub 27-Dic-2024. ISSN 2665-0398.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13999238.

The objective of this research was to determine the influence of knowledge management as a driver of organizational innovation in regular basic education. A cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire applied to a sample of 481 teachers from public institutions of regular basic education. Frequencies and percentages were used to analyze the data, and the hypothesis was tested using an ordinal regression test. The results confirm the influence of knowledge management on organizational innovation. Most teachers perceive practices that promote active participation and collaboration, but efforts are needed to strengthen the capture and use of tacit knowledge, the consolidation of communities of practice, and the development of an organizational culture that fosters innovation. The research contributes to the understanding of the role of knowledge management in organizational innovation in regular basic education, providing empirical evidence for the design of strategies that can strengthen innovative practices in this context.
