The findings reveal that more than half of the participants, specifically 52.2%, consider that comprehensive solid waste management is not being carried out adequately. Similarly, 53.1% of those surveyed perceive that the involvement of citizens in this process is only moderate. The statistical analysis yielded a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.283, with a p value of 0.000, suggesting a statistically significant, although weak, relationship between the variables studied.
