The article presented a systematic review of 14 studies published between 2021 and 2025 that analyzed the impact of educational games on the development of motor skills in preschool children. Using the PRISMA protocol, research was selected from the Web of Science, SciELO, and Redalyc databases. The findings revealed that educational games, whether traditional, manipulative, or digital, had significant positive effects on gross motor skills (balance, coordination, movement) and fine motor skills (grip precision, visual-motor coordination). Three main types of games were identified: physical, manipulative, and interactive digital. Research showed improvements in participation, self-esteem, concentration, and comprehensive motor development. Despite their effectiveness, methodological limitations, a lack of longitudinal studies, and limited teacher training in the pedagogical use of games were identified. Recommendations were made to systematically integrate these games into the preschool curriculum, alternating fine and gross motor activities, and encouraging more personalized and sustainable future research.
