Mathematics, art, science and technology are dissimilar but complementary to each other, where meaningful learning has been shown to be achieved when it is based on real problem solving, given that critical thinking and creativity of students are promoted, as well as principles such as interdisciplinarity, collaborative work, computational thinking and problem-solving skills, which are provided for in the MACYT Program in mathematics, art, science and technology in secondary education: Therefore, the objective of this research was through a review in journals in databases such as Scopus, SciELO, Redalyc and Google Scholar to determine what is the state of the art on the scope of the MACYT program implemented in secondary education to promote interdisciplinarity, collaborative work, computational thinking and problem-solving skills and improve learning in mathematics, art, science and technology in secondary education. Of the 80 articles reviewed, 32 were selected that show the efficiency of learning programs similar to MACUY, which has been frequently used in academic training in secondary education for the teaching of mathematics, art, science and technology, demonstrating that it has improved the academic performance of students based on learning under a constructivist approach, which was based on compliance with 4 principles that were interdisciplinarity, collaborative work, computational thinking and problem-solving ability.
