Abstract

LLANOS VERA, Claudia Isabel  and  ALARCON-LLONTOP, Luis-Rolando. EDUCOMMUNICATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA: CHILDREN'S AUDIOVISUAL PROJECT ON YOUTUBE. Aula Virtual [online]. 2025, vol.6, n.13, e542.  Epub Oct 01, 2025. ISSN 2665-0398.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17102407.

Educommunication has among children some of its most important target subjects, for whom it does not hesitate to recommend novel incursions such as audiovisuals. The objective of this research was to create an educommunicative audiovisual project on Youtube for children's audiences in Peru. With a qualitative approach methodology and hermeneutic design, five YouTube channels, five experts, five mothers and five empirical written sources with audiovisual content were used as informants. The techniques of discourse analysis, interviews and documentary analysis were used. As main findings, it was possible to identify that there is relevance in children's audiovisual production with educational-communicative content on YouTube; the steps to carry out audiovisual production were determined, starting with the analysis of the audience and finally, the structure was defined as a basis for children's programs, where the diversity of content and the most appropriate times are considered. It is concluded to have integrated in this audiovisual project, aspects of a diagnosis of diverse sources crossing with the precepts of the same discipline of educommunication in a contribution that directly benefits the infants, but also, indirectly to production companies, academia, state and civil organizations interested in the protection of children.
