Abstract
VASQUEZ REYES, Luis Angel et al. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH SKILLS IN STUDENTS OF UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL FEDERICO VILLARREAL- FACULTAD HUMANIDADES (UNFV-FH), 2025. Aula Virtual [online]. 2025, vol.6, n.13, e620. Epub Nov 27, 2025. ISSN 2665-0398. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17684079.
This article was conducted with the general aim of determining the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on improving research skills in students at UNFV-FH in 2025. This objective plays an important role since the development of research practices contributes to the improvement of students' academic activities. The study was quantitative, applied in nature, and used a pre-experimental design, meaning it involved a single group that was first given a pretest, then the treatment, and finally a posttest. The sample consisted of 85 students from UNFV-FH. The results indicated that students used their communication skills 84.7% of the time, compared to only 7.1% in the pretest. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test, a non-parametric test, was used. It was concluded that AI impacts the improvement of students' research skills, showing a 7.49-point increase in the posttest, with a statistical significance of 0.000.
