MORALES CABALLERO, Lourdes Yobana. ORAL HEALTH BUDGET PROGRAM AND THE MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC RESOURCES IN ÁNCASH: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW. Aula Virtual [online]. 2025, vol.6, n.13, e598.  Epub Dec 27, 2025. ISSN 2665-0398.  https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17976573.

The study presents a systematic review, developed under PRISMA guidelines, on the oral health budget program and its relationship with the management of public resources in Peru, with special emphasis on the Ancash region. 19 articles published between 2021 and 2025 were selected in international databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed and SciELO. The results show that the efficiency of public spending on oral health depends more on the quality of management, results-based planning and training. of human resources than of the amount allocated, likewise, school and community programs proved to be the most cost-effective strategies to expand coverage and reduce health gaps. It is concluded that strengthening monitoring mechanisms, budget transparency and decentralized governance is essential to optimize the execution of spending and consolidate territorial equity, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 9.
